The family of Ann Serwatkewich sadly announce her passing at the age of 89 years. She passed away peacefully in
Saskatoon
with her family by her side on June 19th, 2022. Ann was born on February 23, 1933 in the Hubbard area to John and Nellie Oryschak. She was united in marriage to Mike Serwatkewich on September 18th, 1954.
She is survived by her nine children: Barb (Murray) Sly; Leonard (Kim); Allan (Paola); Beatrice (Bill) Mytopher; Darlene (John) Harvey; Shirley (Barry) Kopp; Frances (Larry) Szovek; Marie (Gerald) Villeneau; Wilf (Melanie). She is also survived by her brothers Bill and Steve (Brenda); sisters, Mary (Roland)
Bolton
, Katie Rempal; sisters-in-law, Diane Serwatkewich and Lucille Christensen and was greatly loved by 18 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; brothers Alex and Eli and by her husband Mike in 1983.
Ann grew up on a farm near Hubbard, SK as the second oldest of seven children. She always kept busy raising her family and made sure they were cared for.
She enjoyed gardening, making perogies, playing cards and visiting family as well as reading and listening to her Ukrainian records.
Her life revovled entirely around her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren and there are not enough words to describe how important Ann was to those who loved her.
She is greatly missed and will remain with us in every laugh and loving moments shared together.
