Christal Jody Linklater was born on March 28th, 1996 to Adrienne Ballantyne and Joseph Frank Linklater in The Pas, Manitoba.

Christal had a unique laughter that can be heard throughout the house. She was a caring mother and sister, cousin, aunty, niece and partner to Lyndon Tobar. She loved to cook for her children, nieces and nephews. Those who were fortunate enough to cross her path would find her outgoing and had a great personality. She was beautiful and charming, and would spend an hour to present herself in her appearance. Christal grew up in Pukatawagan, Manitoba, Regina, Saskatchewan, and in The Pas, Manitoba as a child and a teenager. She moved to Flin Flon where she become a mother to her two eldest children. Recently she had moved to Prince Albert, Saskatchewan and welcome her adorable son Leon to the world.

Christal passed away unexpectedly in the early morning of August 12th, 2024 in Saskatoon Saskatchewan at the age of 28 years old. Christal survived by her partner Lyndon Tobar, sons Dante Keenan Bluestone Linklater, Leon Alexander Juan Tobar, daughter, Elena Gabrielle Sophia Marie Linklater, biological mother Adrienne Ballantyne and her mother's children. Step mother Sarah Linklater, Siblings, Francine Linklater (Robin Noon) and their family Ayden and Cassandra. Frances Linklater (Lauren Musqua) and their family Kesik, Kanata, Joseph, Martha and Timothy. Vernon Francoise and children. Josie Francoise and her children Toni Cassidy, Vayne Shallow star Vaylynn Shoottingstar, Wilma Linklater. Mother in Law, Joyce Tobar and Juan Tobar, brother in laws, Robert Bear-Stewart, Alberto Tobar, Giovanni Tobar and George Stewart, sister in Laws, Ingrid Tobar and Noreen Stewart. Special Aunties and cousins: Valentina Charles, Rose Bighetty, Bevery Bighetty, Morningstar Bighetty, Star Ross Bighetty, Cheryl Bighetty and Hilda Ross, Velma Bear, Delian Bear, Chrystal Linklater. Christal predeceased her father Joseph Frank Linklater, and they are forever in each other arms, his pride and joy. Sister Kesik (stillborn), Paternal Grandparents Keno Linklater and Henriette, "Harriet" Linklater, uncles Roger Linklater, Pierre Dumas, aunty, Joan Linklater and Angelique Merasty sister in laws, Josephine Stewart and Lavonna Tobar.
