Passed away at Royal University Hospital, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan at the age of 63 years

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our mother/grandmother/great grandmother/sister/ aunt and friend Darlene Hall of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on Tuesday, October 31

, 2023 at Royal University Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Darlene was born in Peguis First Nation and was born to Ernest and Lena Hall. Darlene was born minutes after her twin sister Marlene and was one of six children. As a young child the family moved to Hay River, NWT where she attended Day School and then on to Pine Point, NWT where she finished her schooling and started her work life.  Darlene spent many years in Pine Point, NWT until moving her little family to Saskatchewan in 1986. Darlene worked in many places during her time in Saskatchewan and was employed ay SIGA central office until her passing.

Darlene was a devoted Mother, Grandmother, great-grandmother and sister and aunt, her family was her greatest joy in her life. Darlene had the biggest heart of gold and was always ready to lend a helping hand or brighten your day with her positivity and beautiful smile. Darlene loved nature and spending time outdoors and she had a huge love for all animals.  Darlene’s unconditional love for others, bright smile and contagious laugh will be missed by all.

Darlene is survived by her children Crystal Hall and her children Traegan, Kayla-Dawn, Lawrence and Honesty-Faith, Amanda (Jon) and their children Hailey-Joy, Elijah, Aliyah, Maddison, Dayne and Ava, Stephen Hall and his children Jasmine, Stephen Jr, Charles and Edward. Great Grandchildren Selena, Tyrone, Luta, Traegan Jr, Beautifull, Vanessa and Nikosis. Her sisters Valerie (Ken) Cunningham and their son Travis (Harley, Hunter & Mariya), her twin Marlene Hall and her daughter Candace (grand daughter Payton), Lillian (Jim) Denton and their children Michael (Amanda) James & Frankie Denton, Stefanie Denton & Lila Munkholm and Claire Denton (Darcy). Charlene Hall and her children Justin and Ariel, Alice Williams and her children Crystal & Derek.  Niece Melanie (Fred) Sylvester and their children Wyntre and Lakota. Her special friend Brett Savage and her dear best friend Leanne Martin.

Darlene is also going to be missed by her SIGA Family whom she cared for dearly and her many extended family and friends from Peguis First Nation, Pine Point and Saskatoon.

Darlene was welcomed at heaven’s gate by her parents Lena and Ernest Hall, brother Ernest Hall Jr, her precious daughter Janeen Hall, her precious grandsons Xylus Hall and great grandson Taylor, son in law Roger Sutherland and niece Roxanne Cunningham, nephews David, Presley, Kenneth and Keith Cunningham, nephew Vince Williams and special friend Peter Lysohirka.
