Donald Tkacyk

Photo Donald Tkaczyk November 19, 1934 - May 19, 2017 It is with sadness that our family announce, the passing of our Brother, Uncle, Great-Uncle and Great-Great-Uncle Donald. Donald was born November 19, 1934 in Humboldt, SK and grew up on a farm near Lanigan. In 1974, he and his brother Ted retired from farming and moved to Saskatoon. Donald was a selfless man who dedicated his whole life to caring for his brother Ted until his passing in July, 2015. Today we take comfort knowing that they are reunited and rest in peace together in Heaven. Although he faced several health issues over the past few years, he never complained and tried to live life to the fullest, enjoying weekly trips to the casino. Donald is lovingly remembered by his brother Bill, his sisters Kathy and Eva and many nieces and nephews. Donald was predeceased by his parents Fred and Olga Tkaczyk, his brothers Nick and Ted and sisters Mary and Delores. Special thanks to the many Palliative home-care nurses who took care of Donald over the past two years and to the many doctors and nurses on the Palliative Care Ward at St. Paul's Hospital
