It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Frankie Derhousoff, a beloved son, brother, father, and uncle. Born on November 3, 1988 in Grandforks B.C, Frankie departed from this world far too early on July 22, 2023 in Delise, SK. His spirit, warmth, and big-hearted nature resonated with everyone who knew him, leaving a legacy of kindness that will not be forgotten.
Frankie is sorely missed by his loving mother, Bev Wild, and his stepfather, Gordon Wild. He leaves behind his caring siblings, Cassidy Derhousoff, Derek Derhousoff, and Christopher Derhousoff. His memory will live on in his sons, Frankie JR Derhousoff, Charlie Derhousoff, and Bentley Derhousoff, whom he cherished and adored with all his heart.
He is survived by his loving aunt, Carol Derhousoff, and will continue to inspire his nieces, Nevaeh Derhousoff, Ava Derhousoff, and Mariah Derhousoff, as well as his nephews, Tyrone Wall, and Mikhail Derhousoff. He is predeceased by his father, Frank Derhousoff, and his grandparents, Bella and John Derhousoff.
Frankie, with his love for music, especially anything with a good beat, brought joy and merriment to all occasions. His favorite recreations were the simple yet meaningful moments spent with his children. His affinity for the color blue reflected in his personality—cool, calm, and content.
The best lesson Frankie shared with us was the powerful belief that anyone can change no matter what they have faced or gone through in life. This lesson demonstrated his immense compassion and empathy for others. His immeasurable kindness, bright personality, and concern for others have filled our hearts with love and respect for him.
In his memory, let us carry forward his message of resilience, kindness, and the power of changing for the better. Frankie will be forever missed and loved by family and friends.
