Gary Ritzand
1953 - 2016
Gary passed away at St. Paul’s Hospital on Wednesday , October 12, 2016 at age 63. Predeceased by his Mom and Dad, Gary will be lovingly remembered by his wife Debbie, daughters; Tracy (Butch), Belinda (Jason), son Wade (Nickie), and also Jen (Mike), his grandchildren; Dylan, Hailey, Quincey, Abbigail, Ocean, Madison, Deesin and Brooklyn, his sisters; Audrey (Larry), Diane, and Marian (Brian), brother George, sisters-in-law; Delorus (Gord) and Cindy as well as many nieces, nephews, good friends and extended families. Gary was born and raised in Saskatoon where he worked construction, was a truck driver and also owned and operated his own Tow Truck business. In 2003 they moved to Iroquois Lake where he loved fishing, quadding and having a “ few beers” with his buddies.. They also spent the winter months in Yuma, Arizona, with their “Yuma family”. He loved to display lights at the Lake and in Yuma. At Yuma, he loved playing darts and pool with the guys. He also loved to cook, his specialty being Chinese food. Gary was a strong, kind man who did not like conflict. He was always there to help anyone who needed it. His grandchildren meant the world to him. He loved them to the moon and back.
