The recording of Mary Matwyuk's service
Born in Poland – January 18, 1926
Immigrated to Canada – October 31, 1931
Died in Saskatoon – November 12, 2021
As a world traveler this journey to eternity was without reservation or confirmation. The closest to heaven was by national or international airlines. The most memorable flights were on a Hot Air Balloon over Saskatoon and on the Concorde from J.F. Kennedy Airport (N.Y) to Heathrow, London, England, at age 40 years. I enjoyed a break from the workforce and an around the world ports-of-call voyage.
My signature statement: If I die tomorrow, I have no regrets regarding my decisions – whatever they were – I did it my way!
Goodbye, farewell, au revoir to my dear, dear friends. You know who you are.
I was predeceased by my immediate family: father, Peter; mother, Eudokia; brother, John; brother, William; and sister, Anne.
A Memorial Service conducted by Fr. Mark Miller will be held at Westwood Funeral Chapel (1402 – 20th Street West, Saskatoon, SK.) on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. For those unable to attend the service, you are invited to join the service via livestream.
