Robert Torrie

ROBERT AARON TORRIE

(September 15th, 1975-August 7th, 2024)

Rob was a beautiful young man, so fun and funny to be around/with, very kind and giving of himself and his time to others. He was a simple and humble man and never one to complain. Rob loved working on vehicles with his good friend Derek, moto-cross, skateboarding, playing his guitar and drums and hobby toys. Rob was artistic in many ways and loved to paint murals. Rob lost his battle with cancer and passed away on August 7th, 2024. He was a beautiful and wise soul and will be missed by many.

Rob was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Carolyn Torrie. His is survived by his best friend Monica Sousa, his furry son Ty (Tiberius-cat) and numerous relatives.

As per Rob's request no funeral service will be held.

Flowers can be sent to Monica Sousa @ 210 Avenue X South Saskatoon, or in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St Paul's Palliative care wing.

He is Gone

You can shed tears that he is gone

Or you can smile because he has lived.

You can close your eyes and pray that he will comeback

Or you can open your eyes and see all he has left.

Your heart can be empty because you can’t see him

Or you can be full of the love you shared

You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday

Or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday

You can remember him only that he is gone

Or you can cherish his memory and let it live on.

You can cry and close your mind,

be empty and turn your back

Or you can do what he’d want:

smile, open your eyes, love and go on.
