Ronald Roach

Ronald "Ron" Walter Roach

March 31, 1954 ~ August 10, 2024

Ron left us on August 10, 2024 at St. Paul's Hospital, ICU with family by his side.

Left to mourn are his loving wife, Phyllis Trottier and son Michael Trottier (Jenny Kermes); brothers Dale Roach (Laverne), George Roach (Judy); sisters Marlene Nelson, Maxine Holoien (Doug) and Jane Roach; nieces, nephews and brother-in-law Orville Fredrick (Rose, David & Jessica).

He was predeceased by his father, George Roach; mother Verdie Roach; sister, Carol Burke and brother Gordon Roach.

Ron loved sports and excelled in hockey and ball. He coached minor hockey, softball and baseball. Ron was also a pretty good golfer and loved the game . He loved camping and fishing with Phyllis and Mike and especially enjoyed the times we spent camping with his sister Jane and her children Ken, Steve and Carmen.

Ron loved a camp fire and enjoyed the fire pit in the backyard. If you happened to drop by he would roast you marshmallows. He would even make sure the dogs would get one.

He loved dogs and horses and there was always a dog by his side, whether he was riding his bike, walking or sitting. Ron gave the best hugs and if you were ever hugged by him you really knew you were hugged.

He fought the good fight and now he has finished the race.

He will always be remembered and missed by those who knew and loved him.
