Ernie also known as Uncle Tot by all his nieces and nephews will be dearly missed. Uncle Tot will be missed in the stands where he was known to cheer on his nephews in their hockey and baseball games. He enjoyed going and watching Trinity’s roller derby games and he was Kit’s maintenance man. He spent most of his life working for the City of Saskatoon, where he retired 4 years ago. His days were now spent visiting family. Every Sunday he would attend Church at St. John’s.
Ernie was a New York Yankees fan and he kept everyone informed on who was leaving or getting traded to the Yankees. He enjoyed watching the WPCA chuckwagon races. Even though he was not much of a traveler, along with his girlfriend and her family he attended the Calgary Stampede numerous years to watch the races. His prized possession was his car, he was always known to have a nice clean car.
Ernie was predeceased by his parents Charlie and Irene Ethier and his brother Lionel Ethier.
