Obituary of Dominic Zelantini

ZELANTINI, Domenico (Dominic)
December 25, 1939 – April 20, 2020

Domenico (Dominic) Zelantini passed away at St. Paul’s Hospital on April 20, 2020 at the age of 80.
He is survived by his two sons,  Ron (Christine) and Don (Jackie) and beloved grandchildren, Dylan Ritzand, Savanna and Shawn Zelantini.
Dominic is also survived by his partner Grace Reyes and her children Gabe and Jamie, his two sisters Teresa Domokos, Maria (Mike) Grosso, sister-in-law Anna (Angelina) Zelantini, and many nieces and nephews and their families.
He was predeceased by his parents Nicola and Concetta, brother Gionanni, sister and brother-in-law Maddelena and Salvatore Stellitano, brother-in-law Vincenzo Ordorico and Emeric Domokos.
Domenico was born December 25, 1939 in Casaclenda, Campobasso Italy and immigrated to Canada in 1960, making Saskatoon Saskatchewan his home until his passing.
Dominic worked for many years as a bricklayer, concrete and construction. He was a very talented man.  He could do anything he put his mind to. He enjoyed fixing cars, fabricating tow trucks, building houses etc. He really loved going to the auctions to find good deals.  He never had a problem with going out of his way to help out family members or friends. He was a loving father, brother, uncle and good friend. He really enjoyed being with his family cooking, laughing, playing cards and bocce ball.
The Zelantini family would like to thank St. Paul’s Hospital ICU unit for their dedication, care and support they gave to our father.  We also would like to thank everyone for their love and support and prayers. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
