Obituary of Austin Morrow

After a lengthy illness, Gus, a long time resident of Saskatoon passed away at the age of 79 on Wednesday, December 30, 2015. He was predeceased by his loving wife Mary and brother Victor. Gus will be lovingly remembered by his children Bryan (Sharlene), Christine (Bill) and Mark (Traci); grandchildren Justin (Nicole), Devon (Kate), Caetlin and Logan; sisters Joan and Dorothy as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Gus served in the military as a Sergeant in the British Royal Air Force and as an Air Radio Fitter in Coastal Command and 2nd TAF in Germany, before moving to Canada with Mary and the children in 1975. He had a passion for travelling and meeting new friends always with a smile and a story or two to tell. In his later years, Gus fought a number of illnesses but never gave in to any of them as he lived each day with optimism and an attitude that touched all that he encountered. He will be sadly missed by family and friends. "Goodnight Dad until we meet again". In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Oliver Lodge Special Care Home (1405 Faulkner Cres.
