Obituary of Kazimierz Baraniecki

Lovingly surrounded by family, Kazimierz passed away peacefully at the age of 90. He was predeceased by his wife Anna Baraniecki in August 1995. Kazimierz is survived by his sons Morris (Edith), Matt (JoAnn), Ed (Corinne Jones) & daughter Halina (Karl) Bayer. He was also loved by daughter in law Maureen Baraniecki. His grandchildren, Jay (Cheryl) & Kurt (Catherine), Jordan & Jeremy, Brianna & Adam and four great grandchildren, Evan, Ryan, William & Susan loved him dearly. He was born in Barwinek, Poland and moved to Canada in 1958 with his family. They resided in Blaine Lake for two years until they settled in Saskatoon. He found his passion working as a carpenter with Boychuk Construction for 30 years building cabinets, doors, stairs and doing finishing work. This passion continued into his retirement years building masterpieces included a grandfather clock, a curio cabinet, coffee tables, end tables and dining room suites. Flowers and tomatoes flourished every year in his garden. He will be greatly missed by his immediate family, loving family in Poland and the United States as well as his many friends at St. Ann's Senior Citizens Village and those in the Polish community. The family wishes to thank the staff at St. Paul's Hospital for the excellent care and kindness they provided. Donations may be made to the Palliative Care unit at St. Paul's Hospital.

Funeral

Prayers will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 12. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, Jan. 13 at 10:00 a.m. Both services will be held at our Lady of Czestochowa, 301 Ave Y South where he was a founding member of the church.
