Obituary of Lorne J.A. Stewart

It is with sadness we announce that Lorne Stewart passed away suddenly on February 28, 2016 at St. Paul’s Hospital. Lorne was predeceased by his parents Florence and Eldred Stewart. He is survived by his siblings: Allan (Cheryl) Stewart, Carolyn (Terry) Bartko, Abby Stewart of Duncan, BC, and Don (Joanne) Stewart; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews; extended family and friends. Lorne worked in maintenance at all three hospitals in Saskatoon for nearly 30 years. One of his favorite pastimes was spending time with his nieces and nephews, and he was especially fond of the cats. Lorne was strong minded and loved to debate issues, but he had a heart of gold. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association. A private family service will be held at a later date.
