Obituary of Edward Ratcliffe

Edward (Ted) Wilson Ratcliffe It is with great sadness that the family of Ted Ratcliffe, of the Palisades Retirement Home, Saskatoon, SK announce that he passed away on May 15, 2016 with his family at his side. He is survived by his six children, Arthur Richard (Tina), Edward John (Pat), Robert Allen (Debbie), Barbara Jean (Bert), Karen Elizabeth (Paul) and Joanne May. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and one great-great- granddaughter. Ted is also survived by three sisters, Bertha Saxton, Mary (Stu) Mercer and May (David) Lesser. Ted lived a full and active life. He retired from the Canadian Navy in 1960. He then worked for Sears and retired from there at the age of 57. He was an avid bowler for most of his adult life and was very active in the Saskatchewan Seniors Games. He was a volunteer for homecare for many years and was very active in the Fairhaven Seniors Center. In his later years Ted took great joy in his time spent with companion Yvonne Gallucci.
