Obituary of Arnold Mari

Arnold Peter Mari The family of Arnold are saddened to announce his passing June 11, 2016 at Saskatoon City Hospital at the age of 74. He is survived by his beloved wife, Debbie, of 37 years, along with his son Travis, his daughter Michelle (Jackson), his only granddaughter Mya who was his pride and joy, his sisters Clara, Jean, and Regina, brother Ralph, and numerous neices and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Valentine, mother Anna, sisters Veronica, Katherine, Bertha, Agatha, and brothers Valentine, Paul, John and Jack. Arnold was a jack-of-all-trades kind of man. Anything you needed done, he was here to help. He was the kind of man that would give you the shirt off his back, always helping others before himself. Throughout the years he enjoyed numerous activities including hunting, fishing, camping, going up to the lake, spending quality time with friends and family, and working on his home. He loved to sing old songs to his granddaughter whenever she came over. She turned him into a big softy. He always volunteering to take her for sleepovers just so he could spend extra time with her. His quality of life deteriorated rapidly over the last 4 years, but he kept his humor until the very end. His friends Brem, Dwaine, Frank, Dennis, Roy, Shannon, and many others will miss him dearly. Thank you to all of the staff at SPH, RUH, and SCH over the past few years.

Funeral

There will be a memorial service Friday, June 17, 2016 at 1:00 p.m at Westwood Funeral Chapel followed by a light lunch at St. Mary's Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
