Obituary of Manuel Almeida

It is with great sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of Manuel Almeida. Manuel passed away peacefully on March 29, 2021 at St. Ann’s Nursing Home at the age of 89. Manuel was born January 11, 1932 in Sao Miguel, Azores, Portugal. He is predeceased by his wife Maria Jose and was the son of the late Manuel Almeida and Maria Pereira. Brother to Joao Almeida (Denise, deceased), sister Maria dos Anjos Almeida (Francisco) both deceased, sister Gilda Cabral (Manuel, deceased), brother Jose Almeida (Ilda, deceased),  sister Angelica Rebelo (Jose), sister Ilda Oliviera (Joao, deceased). Left to cherish his memory are his loving family; two daughters Maria Alves and Natalia (Tim) Sands; four grandchildren Mandy (Kevin) Connell, Michael (Melanie) Alves, Steven Sands (Tyffany Amy), Stephanie Sands (Scott Tryhuba); great-granddaughter Alissa Alves, as well as numerous extended family and friends.
