Florence Goehr passed peacefully and went to be with her Savior on Monday, April 4, 2022.

She will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by her children Val (Guy), Roxanne (Dave, deceased), Lex (Pat), Jeffrey (Amanda), her 19 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Also her surviving siblings Tony, Wanda, Louise, George.

Florence made it easy in life to make many memories with her family and friends. She was loved by everyone she met, and so easy to talk to, it did not matter how difficult the conversation, she was always there to listen, and advise. Florence had a passion for gardening, whether flowers or vegetables, but her favorite of all was her love of sweet peas. Many of the seeds from her sweet pea plants have been given to family and friends and continue to flower across the country. She made many bird and especially blue jay friends. If she was late feeding them, they would sit on her living room window sill and tap the glass to get her attention. The flock then gathered, for they knew she would soon be out. Florence also loved to travel and went to many countries around the world. She enjoyed sewing, baking, and was a great cook. Her family enjoyed feasting on the many passed down family recipes. She taught her children to cook, sew, clean and do their own laundry. Her favorite saying to her children was "Your arms are not painted on, and you are not living at home for the rest of your life"

Florence's family would like to extend their gratitude to everyone who called Florence their friend. You brightened her life and made her smile. Her family would also like to express their deepest heartfelt thanks to everyone at Warm 'n' Cozy, for making their mom feel at home, especially when her time was near, she was not alone.
