Obituary of Paulina Andrade

Maria Paulina Andrade passed away peacefully on February 18, 2024, at Spruce Manor Special Care Home in Dalmeny, SK.  Paulina was born on August 21, 1947, in Capelas, Ponta Delgada, Portugal.

Paulina lived a simple family life.  She was a loving mother to Luciano, wife to Victorino, and a faithful member of St. Mary’s Parish.  Paulina enjoyed walking until at the age of 40 was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.

Paulina is survived by her beloved son, Luciano, and brothers, Joao, Jose, and Luciano in Portugal.  She is predeceased by her husband, Victor; parents, Joao and Maria Ines Cabeceieras; brother Antonio; and sister, Fernanda.

The family would like to thank all those who cared for Paulina for the last 12 years, especially Cora Equina and the staff at Spruce Manor Care Home.

Vigil of Prayer will take place at Westwood Funeral Chapel on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at 7:00 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 23, 2024 at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Parsih at 11:30 a.m. followed by the Rite of Committal at Woodlawn Cemetery.
